On June 12th, Crowe Vietnam was honored to partner with the ACCA Tax Summit 2026 – the Annual ACCA Corporate Tax Forum. The event successfully gathered over 120 in-person delegates in Hanoi and attracted more than 2,000 virtual participants nationwide, alongside 17 leading experts in taxation, finance, and corporate governance.
During the specialized panel titled “VAT & Tax Refunds for FDI / EPEs / Exporters,” Mr. Nguyen Quynh Nam, FCCA – Chairman of the Board of Members at Crowe Vietnam, participated as a key speaker. Together with other prominent experts, he addressed the practical challenges frequently encountered by businesses today, including:
- Conditions for applying 0% vs. 10% VAT rates (for goods/services provided to Export Processing Enterprises – EPEs)

- EPEs with non-processing activities; Export/Import rights
- Export/import rights & direct overseas trading: Principles for handling VAT and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) expenses

It further reinforced the fact that modern tax management goes beyond mere regulatory compliance to become a critical pillar in a company’s risk management and sustainable development strategy.
