The collection and processing of personal data by Crowe Vietnam comply with the provisions of Vietnamese law, particularly the Law on Personal Data Protection No. 91/2025/QH15, effective from January 1, 2026.

In relation to your personal data, Crowe Vietnam acts as the Personal Data Controller (or Personal Data Controller and Processor). We are committed to fully discharging the responsibilities of a Controller as stipulated in Article 37 of the 2025 Law on Personal Data Protection.

Crowe Global and Crowe Vietnam may collect personally identifiable information from users through pages on the Website, and from time to time, other pages may appear that request similar information. We collect Basic Personal Data (full name, phone number, email address, employment information, etc.). In cases where it is necessary to collect Sensitive Personal Data (e.g., payment information for client service contracts, candidate application profiles), we will provide clear notification and only process such data with your consent or as required by law, ensuring stricter security measures in accordance with the 2025 Law on Personal Data Protection.

Crowe Vietnam commits to fully fulfilling its legal obligations when transferring data cross-border, including creating a Cross-Border Personal Data Transfer Impact Assessment Dossier and reporting to the specialized authority as regulated in Article 20 of the 2025 Law on Personal Data Protection. By agreeing to Crowe Vietnam’s privacy policy, you explicitly and unambiguously consent that all collected personal and non-personal information may be processed internationally.

Retention of Your Information

Your information is stored on Crowe Vietnam’s servers and will be retained as long as it remains useful for its original purpose. The information can only be accessed by us, Crowe Global, Members with access to the Global Directory, and member portal administrators.

In the event of discovering a personal data protection violation that may pose a risk to your rights and interests, Crowe Vietnam will notify the Specialized Agency for Personal Data Protection no later than 72 hours from the discovery of the violation and simultaneously coordinate to remedy the consequences in accordance with Article 23 of the 2025 Law on Personal Data Protection.

Email Marketing and Opt-Out Options

Complying with Article 28 of the 2025 Law on Personal Data Protection and anti-spam legislation, we only send marketing emails and service introductions with your consent. Every marketing email we send provides a clear method for you to opt out of receiving messages (unsubscribe).

You have the right to request that we stop using your personal data for marketing purposes at any time by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in the email or by sending a request directly to us. We will cease sending promotional information immediately upon receiving your request.

Please note that updating your preferences may not take effect immediately, and Crowe Vietnam may not be able to prevent all emails from Crowe Global or other Members; you may need to interact with them separately to opt out of receiving their information.
